The AAD runs a First Round Festival as part of the

All England One Act Theatre Festival

The next festival will be at The Blakehay Theatre, Weston-super-Mare on 23, 24, 25 February 2012 and is open to any amateur group who gather together to present a performance.

Copies of the Rules are available on this site or via the Festival Secretary.

Winners of the Avon Festival will progress to the Central Division Final to compete against other Round 1 finalists from local counties.

The Divisional winner will then progress to the Western Area Final - which is then followed by the English Final - normally in June.

The English winner will be invited to participate in the British Final which can be anywhere in Great Britain or Northern Ireland

All rounds are adjudicated by independent adjudicators who are members of GODA [the Guild of Drama Adjudicators].
