Ordinary people. Extraordinary performances.
Two weekends of the UK's most exciting amateur theatre.

This year, from 13 to 22 July, the Royal Shakespeare Company are welcoming some of the UK's most exciting amateur theatre productions to perform in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of the RSC's Open Stages project.

From a musical Henry VIII to a modern-day Belfast-set Julius Caesar, there's a whole range of new work to see, all based on Shakespeare, and all for just £5 each.

Since 2011, the RSC has worked with over 7,000 individuals from over 260 amateur theatre companies from all over the country to develop their own Shakespeare-themed RSC Open Stages productions, with the aim of creating a legacy of collaboration between professionals and amateurs.

This is your chance to experience some of the most exciting Open Stages productions on the RSC stage, and see extraordinary performances from ordinary people.

Priority Booking is now open for RSC Open Stages Members ONLY – call the RSC Ticket Hotline on 0844 800 1110. Public Booking opens Friday 1 June.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Open Stages project aims to embrace, develop and celebrate amateur theatre. These performances are part of the World Shakespeare Festival which is produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company for London 2012 Festival.
