16 - 20 July 2002 I never Saw Another Butterfly by Celeste Raspanti Performed in the grounds of St Ursula's High School, Bristol
The beautiful grounds of St Ursula's High School, Westbury-on-Trym, provided the setting for this year's AAD production. The amazing story of courage and love displayed by the families of children interned by the Nazis at Terezin, an old fortess near Prague, during the Second World War, was harrowing and moving and a credit to the sensitive handling of the subject matter by its director, Sally Noble. The cast of the open-air production kept the nightly audiences on tenterhooks.
